Posted on Jun 4, 2009
Mount
Pleasant, Mich., June 3, 2009 –BIGGBY COFFEE of Mount
Pleasant, located at 4445 E Bluegrass Road, is reopening under
new management this coming Tuesday, June 9. Husband and wife entrepreneurs
James and Lori DeYoung plan to host a number of free product tastings, in
addition to a first-come, first-serve coffee mug giveaway in celebration of the
event.
The DeYoungs opened their
first BIGGBY COFFEE location nearly one year ago in Mason, Mich.
The location quickly became one of the high-volume stores within the franchise;
an experience that forced the DeYoungs to consider a second franchise rather
quickly.
“We’ve been fortunate enough
to operate a successful café in a community that displayed tremendous support for
our efforts right out of the gate,” said co-owner Lori DeYoung. “As a result,
we love our jobs, we love the brand, and we see it as an amazing opportunity to
bring the right approach to BIGGBY fans in Mount Pleasant.”
The 1,800 square-foot Mount Pleasant café features
free Wi-Fi connections, comfortable soft seating, and a convenient drive-thru window
for BIGGBY fans on the go.
The café originally opened
for business in February, 2008.It
closed its doors this past March, 2009 as a result of local ownership
turn-over.
