"One-and-a-half" New BIGGBY COFFEE Stores Come to Downtown Grand Rapids

Grand Rapids, Mich.,
May 2, 2008 – East-Lansing Mich.-based coffee retailer, BIGGBY
COFFEE, continues its expansion in Grand Rapids with a new store on the corner
of Fuller and Michigan streets, and a “re-grand opening” celebration of its
store on Monroe Center.
The
new store, located at 365 Fuller Avenue, opens its doors on Tuesday, May 20,
while the downtown location, located at 146 Monroe Center, will celebrate a “re-grand
opening” on Monday, May 5.Both stores
will offerfree brewed coffee during grand opening week celebrations.
Both
stores are owned and operated by franchisee Steve Antaya.The new stores represent his fourth and fifth
BIGGBY COFFEE locations respectively.
“The Grand Rapids
community has been a great support for my stores in the past, and I’m pleased
to bring a great brand new location to the area and to re-establish what I feel
is the ultimate downtown location,” said Antaya.
The
MonroeCenter location is open from 6 a.m. to 9
p.m. Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturdays, and 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Sundays.The new store on the corner of
Fuller and Michigan
streets is open 5a.m. to 9p.m. Monday through Sunday.
