A Journey to Conscious Capitalism

Posted on November 27, 2019

Bob Fish and Mike McFall, co-owners and co-CEOs of BIGGBY® COFFEE, shared at TEDx Detroit about how Conscious Capitalism led them to redefine the company’s vision and purpose. In just fourteen minutes, they share what that journey looked and felt like, about the power of having a higher purpose and vision for the company, and provide a call to action for other business owners.

On a handshake and a few thousand dollars, Bob and Mike (BaM) have grown from shopkeepers to leading a franchise coffee concept with hundreds of locations in nine States. Bob travels extensively to coffee origin countries building 'Farm Direct' relationships. Mike is a business author and academic at University of Michigan. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community.
