Location Offering Week-long Specials to Celebrate, Meet Customers
Grand Rapids, Mich., April 29, 2011 –BIGGBY COFEE is spreading the love in Grand Rapids by offering an entire week of delicious drink specials at its store located at 2289 East Beltline NE. The store, which is celebrating new ownership, will begin the tasty specials on Monday, May 2nd.
To kick off the week-long celebration, the store will feature .99 cent Tall Sweet and Creamy hot lattes all day on Monday and will offer a different daily deal through Friday, May 6th. New owners/operators and Grand Rapids residents, Ramell and Joylynne Mitchell have been involved in the BIGGBY COFFEE family for more than four years and officially took over ownership of the store in early April.
“The approach of having each customer leave the store in a better mood than when they entered is what originally interested me in owning a BIGGBY COFFEE franchise,” Ramell Mitchell said. “Combining that with some of the best tasting beverages and the overall energy and passion you feel when you walk into a BIGGBY COFFEE, is what excites to come to work every day.”
Pervious store operator, Rebecca Joppie-Melton may be no longer whipping up hand-crafted lattes from behind the counter, but is sure she will remain a part of the BIGGBY COFFEE family. “I would like to thank the community for allowing me to be part of their lives for the past five years,” Joppie-Melton said. “The Mitchell's are very energetic and are doing an amazing job serving the Grand Rapids community.’
The location will continue the same hours and operation of 6am-9pm Monday-Friday and 7am-9pm Saturday and Sunday.
“We are excited to continue the great service this location already offered and to get to know all the loyal customers and residences of Grand Rapids and the surrounding areas.” Mitchell said. “Without them, this would not be possible.”
