BIGGBY® COFFEE IN BINGHAM FARMS CELEBRATES their one year anniversary with an official ribbon cutting ceremony.

BINGHAM FARMS, MI, 4/14/2015 – The local BIGGBY® COFFEE shop in Bingham Farms turns one year old on April 22, 2015. To celebrate this they will be hosting ribbon cutting ceremony on April 14 at 10:00 am. It has been a fun and exciting year in Bingham for BIGGBY®, when we asked store manager Joanne Francis what she was excited about she said “Watching the store cocoon from a little store business to a constantly evolving and growing family. We get to know our customers on a level that most businesses have forgotten how to do. Plus it’s a fun company and it encourages the staff to be fun and be creative.”

[B]ing involved in the community is BIGG deal for BIGGBY® COFFEE, and the Bingham store is no exception. “We want to host a fundraiser once a week…Our arms are open to help.” Joanne said. Working with local elementary schools art programs and fundraising for those same schools and the Groves Orchestra are commonplace for Joanne and her staff. Recently they hosted a fundraiser for Trevor, a 14 year old attending Berkshire who is in need of a Heart Transplant. Joanne says “Groves asked us to help them and we didn’t think twice about it!” The Bingham store offers a 20% discount on all items to current and former Military personnel as a way to thank them for their service. They also take care of local firefighters, EMT’s, and police officers with free coffee. [B] on the lookout for future fundraisers, including one to support victims, and the prevention, of Domestic Violence.“

We want people to know that we serve a high quality everything, drinks, food and service. On top of that we also care about our community because we live in it.” Joanne said. “We are so fortunate, our guests come from all over and we love them. We have laughed with them and sometimes cried. They make us feel like part of their family… We love what we do and try every day to get it right!”
