BIGGBY® COFFEE is Opening a Brand New Location in Texas Corners, MI!
Texas Corners, MI, November 7, 2016–BIGGBY® COFFEE is excited to announce the Grand Opening of a brand new store in Texas Corners, MI on Tuesday, November 8, 2016! This brand new store is located west off 131 exit 31, on W Q Ave and Vineyard Parkway next door to Advia Credit Union (8016 Vineyard Parkway Kalamazoo, MI 49009). This will be the third BIGGBY® location for the Cousins family—who just welcomed their son into the world as well! Carrie Cousins, Owner/Operator, will be overseeing the operations of their new location along with her District Manager. “I am actively involved in running all three locations, including our Schoolcraft store, our 5015 E Michigan Ave store, and I have now promoted my manager to be our District Manager to do training, scheduling, and barista hiring! We want to be sure each store runs the same and is consistent with the BIGGBY® way! Each store also has an Assistant Manager on staff to help keep the day-to-day running smoothly.”
The Cousins family was thrilled to be able to open their third store in the Texas Corners community! “We have been waiting for the right opportunity to put a BIGGBY® in Texas Corners. We have been watching this area since we opened our first store in July 2014 in Schoolcraft,” said Carrie. “We actually live in Texas Township and have enjoyed it very much. It's great that our store is just a mile from our house! The excitement the community has expressed since we were approved by the township this past summer is just incredible. We are thrilled to be able to grow this wonderful community.”
Giving back is one of the BIGGBY® COFFEE core values and the Cousins family will continue their community involvement efforts with their third store! “We like to stay involved with the local school systems and churches. We have also sponsored WMU's Michigan History Day, local 5K runs/walks, local boy scouts troops, and the county police. Giving is getting, and while it is the BIGGBY® way, it’s also our way,” said Carrie. “Come see us and say hi! We’d love to chat about any upcoming events you have planned that we can be part of!”
Stop in and help the Carrie and her team celebrate the Grand Opening of their new BIGGBY® store! They will be open Monday-Saturday 6:00 AM-9:00 PM and on Sunday from 7:00 AM-9:00 PM. Carrie would like to offer up a drink suggestion when you visit the new store. “My favorite brewed coffee is the Black and Tan, while my favorite latte is a hot German Mocha…which is great frozen too!”
