BIGGBY COFFEE OPENS FIRST STORE IN BATTLE CREEK, MI
Local franchisee set to open first of two new West-Michigan locations on Tuesday, April 10
BATTLE CREEK, Mich., April 2, 2012 – The “Cereal City” will soon have the perfect complement to the day’s most important meal with the long awaited arrival of BIGGBY COFFEE! After months of anticipation, the company’s newest store is set to open at 5466 Beckley Rd. on Tuesday, April 10!
In celebration, the store will offer tall, hot or iced, Caramel Marvels – the company’s number one drink since they opened their doors in East Lansing, MI in 1995 – for just 99 cents! “We are thrilled to be in Battle Creek and are so happy that the time has come where we are ready to open our doors to the public,” Tom Dammer, store owner, said. “We have been gearing up for this and it’s been great to feel the excitement and energy the community has for us.”
Dammer, along with store manager, Lisa Cox, will operate the store in Battle Creek along with their second location in Portage, MI (3201 W. Central Ave.), which is set to open later this month.
“BIGGBY has become a household name especially in West Michigan. As a company we are known for the extraordinary customer service we offer and that will be no different at my stores,” Dammer said. “We are looking forward to serving these communities and getting to know the customers along the way.”
Both the Battle Creek and Portage stores will feature a convenient drive-thru and free Wi-Fi access. Store hours will be Monday- Saturday: 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday: 7a.m.-9 p.m.
