BIGGBY COFFEE RANKS IN TOP FRANCHISES TO OWN

Franchise Business Review rates BIGGBY COFFEE in today’s top franchises.

EAST LANSING, Mich. Jan. 15, 2014– Franchise Business Review has ranked BIGGBY COFFEE as number 15 in “Top Food Franchises to Own” nationally. The ranking comes hand in hand with BIGGBY’s expansion goal of contracting 60 new stores for 2014. BIGGBY successfully hit its goal of 48 franchises for 2013.

“It is an honor to have our franchisees consistently rank BIGGBY COFFEE so high on a national level. This can only happen with ease of operation, high communication level and return on capital,” said Bob Fish, CEO and Co-founder.

In 2013, BIGGBY ranked number 16 in the food category moving up in 2014 to rank number 15 in FBR’s “Top Food Franchises.”

“Having a great relationship with your franchisees should be the norm and not the exception. We appreciate this tribute from our BIGGBY COFFEE owner/operators, and we will continue to offer the best support we can to all those in BIGGBY Nation,” said Tony DiPietro, Director of Franchise Development.

FBR examines compiled data from its annual franchisee satisfaction awards. Trends, concepts and franchise models are observed to help decide rankings. Involvement from an investment and financial standpoint, and how franchisee satisfaction has fared in the past year, are also taken into consideration.

Franchise Business Review leads the market for research in the franchise industry. Reviews of franchises are collected through franchise satisfaction reports, measuring the health of any franchise system. Reports are gathered through feedback from current franchise owners, which help define the satisfaction of owning a franchise.

About BIGGBY COFFEE®

East Lansing, Mich.-based BIGGBY® COFFEE was started with a single store on March 15, 1995. One year later, and on the cusp of opening a second location, Bob Fish and his business partner Michael McFall, on a handshake and $3,000, decided to franchise the concept. BIGGBY COFFEE’s core values of B happy, have fun, make friends, love people and drink great coffee help coffee-lovers and the coffee-curious alike benefit from a less pretentious and fun approach to the standard gourmet café paradigm. Besides connoisseur-worthy drinks with pronounceable names like Teddy Bear and Caramel Marvel, BIGGBY baristas provide a unique experience focused on brightening their customer’s day. The “Big ‘B’” on the orange background caught on, and today BIGGBY COFFEE has 206 cafes open or under contract across nine states including: Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, South Carolina, Wisconsin, Kentucky, Florida and Texas.
