BIGGBY® COFFEE to Sell Atlanta-Based Product Focused on Giving Those in Need Clean Water
East Lansing, MI, September 12, 2017- While coffee may seem like a survival item for many who visit BIGGBY® COFFEE on a daily basis, for many around the world just getting clean water is a daily struggle. That’s what prompted Atlanta-Based GIVN water to create a company that was focused on not only bottling natural spring water, but also helping communities who desperately need access to clean water. BIGGBY® COFFEE is pleased to announce that all its locations will now be selling GIVN water as part of a new partnership.
With a focus on loving people and helping them build a life they love, Product Developer Brandon Trudelle knew that it would be important for BIGGBY® to work with companies that were committed to the same ideals. “We want to be a company that does more” said Trudelle when asked about working with GIVN. “We felt that finding a bottled water partner was a great starting point into this arena and we found that GIVN fits extremely well with BIGGBY’s culture.” Liz Skalla of GIVN’s Business Development Team echoed the excitement felt from GIVN team in working with the BIGGBY team. “As organizations that both care about people, and put people first, we are incredibly aligned in values.”
GIVN’s simple, yet impactful mission starts & ends with the same vital component of water, both bottled and free flowing. “Every bottle of GIVN Water that you drink enables one day of clean water to be provided to a person in need” says Skalla. “Through our partners with organizations such as water.org and waterisbasic.org, we invest in clean water system development for communities that are in desperate need of clean water.” To date, GIVN is now sold in over 42 states in 1,500+ retailers and has provided almost a million days of clean water to those most in need.
The positive impact of GIVN’s message has already achieved positive feedback with customers and Owner/Operators, which Trudelle says is key in this new venture. “We are looking forward to being able to help more people in need and to share that information with our fanatics” says Trudelle. “By simply buying water, their purchases are helping make the world a little better of a place one bottle at a time.” Allowing fanatics to create a positive impact is something Skalla fully agrees with as well and echoed when talking about the future with BIGGBY® and beyond. “By making a simple choice, you can make huge impact.
