TOLEDO AREA WELCOMING NINTH BIGGBY

This is the 2nd Toledo Area BIGGBY COFFEE opening this month

EAST LANSING, MI. April 18, 2013 –BIGGBY COFFEE continues to be a popular face in Ohio, as they gear up to open another store in the Toledo Area. Long time BIGGBY franchisee Mohamed Shetiah, is opening his 23rd store this upcoming week on May 1, 2013 in the town of Oregon, OH on Navarre Ave. Shetiah currently owns a number of BIGGBY franchises in the Toledo area.

BIGGBY COFFEE is a passion of Shetiah’s and hopes that customers can share the same passion, “It’s not just about providing quality customer service, it’s about building relationships, it’s about continuously engaging customers in conversations,” he said. “We want our customers to feel like they own our stores.”

In a recent edition of Franchise Business Review, BIGGBY COFFEE was ranked in the Top 50 franchises in America for Franchisee Satisfaction, so it comes as no surprise that Shetiah is continuing to open up BIGGBY locations throughout the Midwest. “I still have a lot of big plans,” he said. “We still have a lot to do, a lot of places to be and a lot of BIGGBY COFFEE shops to open.”

In March of 2013 BIGGBY celebrated its 18th birthday and today, there are 170 locations open, or under contact to open, in more than 75 cities in seven states. Those include:  Michigan, Ohio, Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin, Texas and South Carolina.

Being the 9th BIGGBY store in the Toledo area, BIGGBY plans to hit the ground running by offering access to a drive thru, and free Wi-Fi as well as the full BIGGBY menu with gourmet coffee, tea, and frozen drinks. About BIGGBY COFFEE®

East Lansing, Mich.-based BIGGBY® COFFEE opened a single store in March of 1995 based on the founding principle that coffee-lovers and the coffee-curious alike would benefit from a less pretentious approach to the standard gourmet café paradigm. BIGGBY COFFEE introduced connoisseur-worthy drinks with pronounceable names like Teddy Bear and Caramel Marvel, and barista staff surprised guests with simple gestures like free kazoos and bouncy balls for no other reason than to brighten their day. The “Big ‘B’” on the orange background caught on, and today BIGGBY COFFEE has 170 cafes open or under contract across six states including: Michigan, Ohio, Illinois, South Carolina, Wisconsin and Texas.  For more information, visit www.biggby.com.
