CHELSEA, Mich. Jan. 4, 2012 – BIGGBY COFFEE of Chelsea (1171 S. Main St.) is starting the New Year off right with free BIGGBY for everyone on Thursday, Jan. 12 from 8-10 a.m. For two hours only, BIGGBY COFFEE CEO and co-founder, Bob Fish, will be at the store treating anyone to the drink of their choice, as the location hosts the first company-wide “SPOT BIGGBY BOB “event of 2012!

These events have led Fish to a wide variety of stores throughout the Midwest and beyond, all for the sole purpose of meeting some of the greatest BIGGBY fanatics and treating them to their favorite drinks on the menu! Now entering its fourth year, Fish said the anticipation and excitement surrounding this year’s events has never been stronger.

“I always get a great feeling traveling to different stores and meeting some of the people that have been supporting BIGGBY and cheering for us since we got our start almost 17 years ago,” Fish said. “Chris and the rest of the crew at our Chelsea location do an incredible job at their store and I’m looking forward to spending the morning with them and meeting their awesome customers.”

The store will also offer special coupons valid the following week, good for a different 99 cent drink special each day beginning Monday, Jan. 16 and continuing through Friday, Jan. 20th.

“We cannot wait to have Bob here and really get 2012 started with a bang,” store owner, Chris Kosmet said. “The word that “SPOT BOB” will be at our store is already spreading through the community and we are preparing for one of the greatest events yet. We hope everyone will come out for their free drink, pick up some coupons, and join us in the fun and excitement!”

About BIGGBY COFFEE®
East Lansing, Mich.-based BIGGBY® COFFEE opened a single store in March of 1995 based on the founding principle that coffee-lovers and the coffee-curious alike would benefit from a less pretentious approach to the standard gourmet café paradigm. BIGGBY COFFEE introduced connoisseur-worthy drinks with pronounceable names like Teddy Bear and Caramel Marvel, and barista staff surprised guests with simple gestures like free kazoos and bouncy balls for no other reason than to brighten their day. The “Big ‘B’” on the orange background caught on, and today BIGGBY COFFEE has 139 cafes open or under contract across seven states including: Michigan, Ohio, Illinois, Indiana, South Carolina, Wisconsin and Texas.  For more information, visit www.biggby.com.
